My setup is basically a SAFC2 & an AEM uego wideband. What kind of tune can you do on that? How much will it run me & if its possible for ya, have you tuned sr's with this type of shit before?

or just do what i do and use the afc for monitoring.. its a great tool to watch air flow when determining if you have a bad maf or not... happened to me twice(2 malfunctioning z32 mafs over time).

i have my neo in for oh shit reasons. I paid a lot for it, im gonna dam well use it for something.

I had my car tuned there when it was roots by hannah... How much would a retune be? If I can pull off an S15 T28 upgrade I think I might do it. I talked with some other tuners and they dont like screwing with other tuners work so they were going to charge the full gamut.

Would it be possible to plug in an SAFC for the time being and just richen the fucker out till I get it down there? Or is the airflow increase too much for an SAFC to compensate for? I wouldn't think so, but your the authority here... Just want to break the engine in after the rebuild before we beat the shit out of it on the dyno.

Price would be $170 unless I have to spend a shit load of time on it which I highly doubt I've redone a shit ton of hannas tunes on Nissans and such so its not a big deal. Theother tuner you talked to was just trying to work you over and I guess you could say in a way punish you because you didnt come to him first.
As far as the SAFC dont do it!
SAFC's modify the MAF voltage and in doing so trick the ECU into thinking that the engine is at different loads and such than what its really at. It works fine for modifying the fuel but also throws your timing way out of wack by advancing it though the roof esp in areas where you should be pulling timing back instead of advancing it. So please keep SAFC's off your nissan's and with your turbo upgrade dont turn the boost up just run it around on stock boost and it will be good till you can get it down for me 2 tune it.

Looks like Ill have to deal with 7psi for a while. Word.

Ill give you a call once everything is back together. How much power you think S15 T28, HKS 256/264, 555s, Z32, TBE, FMIC, and tubular ex. mani would put down? I just want over 300whp under high boost. It should do it?

this setup with out the cams on 20 lbs should make 300hp
with cams your looking into the 330 to 350 range
Are you still running stock intake manifold?

Stock intake mani, yes, on an S14 SR (the low port head).

By the way, I am deleting VCT out of the head. Already have cam gears and I removed the solenoid. Do you know of, or know of any possible problems that could pop up if I were to just run a blockoff plate where the solenoid used to be?

Cams wont allow it (supposedly?) and the solenoid is bad which is why it sounded like a diesel truck at idle (crane and reese made me shut it off on the 4th of july drift day because they said it was a stuck lifter... it wasn't haha). Cheaper to remove the solenoid and replace both cam gears especially considering I am running a conversion harness... S13 ECU on an S14 SR so the ECU can't even control it.

Oh yeah, thats a piece of information I forgot and is another reason to remove it.

Either pay 270 for the solenoid or buy cam gears (done), block off plate (cheap), and have the VCT oil pressure hole plugged at the machine shop while its getting tanked, cleaned, and machined. If there is another way around this, I would love to hear it. Already have HKS cam gears ready to go in and a machine shop. If you know something I don't I would love to hear it... srsly.

haha its probably a stupid question... but doesnt the BC coils need the s13 conversion... i just read on club s12 that someone is talking to tein about a setup, mesaurements takin and everything... they were friced at aroun 4500... yea.. way too much for coils, but the BCs are decently priced.. i firgure tehy do need the swap cause they llok like they mount to an s13 spindle... and the s12 mount looks COMPLETELY different..
